Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says unemployment will be addressed while a modern economy will also be created for future generations.
The PM said the time is apt for modern technology to be used in today’s context.
PM Wickremesinghe speaking at a function at the Temple Trees to issue government appointments for unemployed graduates said, rapid development must be ensured.
Ranil Wickremesinghe noted taking loans to pay off old debt and methods to make money to pay off the loans must be reconsidered.
The PM stressed all citizens must question themselves as to whether they will be stuck in a rut or instead think anew and move forward to transform Sri Lanka into a developed country.
Prime Minister claimed, stability and reconciliation has been ensured while the government’s next goal will be to ensure further development.
The PM added, the country’s future in 30 years to come cannot be predicted at present.
PM Wickremesinghe further noted unemployment will be addressed and modernization will be ensured.
